Screen: Media Contributions
Rename to Media Attention so the purpose of this screen is clearer to faculty. Make necessary changes to ensure appropriate data is captured and clear to faculty when entering
1. Hide Media Type[TYPE] and Explanation of “Other” [TYPE_OTHER] fields.
This field does not provide benefit to anyone, so just hide it for now.
2. Add Screen Description to the top of screen.
At the top of the screen, add the following text to help clarify the use of this screen.
“Use this screen to document any attention from the media about you professionally, or your work. “
3. Rename Media Name [NAME] to “Media Topic”
4. Change text label from “Link to Resource” to “Link to Media”
This will clarify the purpose of this field for the screen
5. Change the text label of Description to “Description (1000 characters)”
Screen: Publications
After discussion with the group, it was determined that we would use the Publications screen to track all work authored by a faculty member; this was previously split between Publications and Media Contribution. Since this screen will have a wider scope than traditional publications, we are re-naming it “Publications and Intellectual Contributions”.
